Hi guys I saw the Crate and Barrel in Kenwood. I also saw Bova furniture online. How is Bova?

I'm looking for something comparable to Room and Board or another alternative to Crate and Barrel, which for all intents and purposes is acceptable.

I'd recommend Joseph William Home, on the corner of 13th and vine. There furniture is surprisingly very well priced for being custom order. Also Algin retro on 8th and sycamore.

I bought my dining room furniture at Bova 10 years ago. It's held up remarkably well, given that it's been moved three times.

But I popped into the website and the prices had me falling off my chair. Their stuff wasn't quite so pricey back then.

And where's the blond furniture?

Ikea has some great furniture, but be careful with what you're buying. I have a solid wood kitchen table from Ikea that I inherited from my father-in-law; it's at least 25 years old and scratched up some, but is still sturdy.

Voltage in Oakley is pretty cutting edge. One of the best in the city for this style...

Voltage > inspired living spaces

Also, Otmar in Montgomery. They've been selling contemporary furniture for 50 years in the same location.

Otmar has great modernist furniture. More on the Scandinavian model, but very nice, and some is made by the owner. They have branches in Centerville and I think Montgomery?

I can vouch for their stujff as I have a TV cabinet and bookcases made by Otmar.
