What's the best source for local weather?

MSN says -11 tonight, -15 tomorrow night. But it didn't say that earlier. I kept looking because Yahoo said something like -15.

WeatherBug meanwhile (WLWT-TV) says -8 tonight, -9 tomorrow.

What do you follow?

Frankly I don't believe most of them. Be careful to distinguish between Wind Chill Factors and Actual Temperature. The forecasters seem to be emphasizing Wind Chill Factors. While important, they are not the do all to end all for us who go outside rarely.

My oldest daughter came home from work last night, shoveled, and spread salt on our driveway. Frankly I was skeptical salt would do any good at the temperature we have been having. Just looked out a few minutes ago. Our driveway is just bare concrete, all of the snow which fell last night is gone.

Take care and try to not get excited by the weather forecasters. Their job seems to be alarming all of us rather than just relating facts.

Just look out a window! Today's weather announcers are too intent on the dramatic aspects of every little snowflake, displayed on hi-color graphics (which they often block by their gesticulating body!). When they say 'Now Lets talk About The Weather At This Minute' I immediately rush over to the nearest window and look for myself.

I generally use NOAA - National Weather Service since they are the ones issuing any weather advisories anyhow.

Here is the local page for Zip Code 41011.

National Weather Service

Local observations come from Lunken Field.

Thank you. Never thought of that. (Sometime I'm quite dense.)
