Batavia is a small town east of cincinnati off of route 32.It is growing a great deal in the last few years. There is plenty or shopping and restaurants nearby at eastgate about 5 miles from batavia.Amelia is near by and also very nice small town suburban feel. The schools in Batavia are good and so are Amelias.Traffic is not bad at all compared to any city.If you work near downtown it will take you 25-30 minutes and 45-1hr in rush hour crush.Batavia is a mostly white 90% area like most suburbs of Cincinnati.

What do you want to know? I live in the Batavia area. And have for nearly 20 years. There are pockets of beautiful rural scenery and wildlife, but the area is growing by leaps and bounds. We plan to move away due to the growth and spread of suburban blight, but obviously many people find this area desirable. It all depends on ones perspective and goals. Crime is relatively low and property values are comparatively reasonable.
