Anyone remember anything about a dance club in Ky called "The Round Up"? Where in Ky was it? Is it still there?

I remember Coney Island had rock & roll concerts at Moonlite Gardens during the late 1950's with stars like Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Tommy Sands, etc. I believe they were held in the afternoon on the weekend. There was also a local band that played at all of these concerts. Does anyone remember the name of that local band?

I remember the Round Up Club in Erlanger, KY. In fact I played there in the late sixties, with a band called JT Sears and the Shamrocks. The club has been torn down and replaced with a few business establishments.

Addionally, the same local band that played at Moonlite Gardens also played at the Castle Farms with stars like Fabian, Brenda Lee, Fleetwoods, etc. I believe the concerts were held on Sunday afternoons.

Just thought this might help in identifying the name of the local band that
played these places in the 1950's.

I remember thinking Kissel's was fantastic back in the 60's. I recall riding on a stage coach there- maybe on the top? It was on Colerain Ave in Groesbeck about where the post office is now I think. I also LOVED Medowbrook. My mother took us once a summer. The pool seemed huge! Also Stricker's Grove was in Mount Healthy originally. Once a year my mom's company had a picnic there. Everything was free! To a large family with very little money, that was the greatest ever!
