What jobs are available in Norwood? Any IT jobs? I heard there are a lot of cashier jobs.

Also, my girlfriend uses Time Warner for her internet and tv. Internet is decent but I know it can be faster (I had Verizon FiOS back in CA where my parents live and it was a lot faster than this) and the tv kinda sucks cuz it keeps on saying "No Signal". I had DirectTV back in CA. What internet and television services are reliable and affordable in the area? I've heard of Comcast, Time Warner (obviously), Cincinnati Bell, At&T, and Dish Network.

Thanks!

Norwood is more residential but has some industry and some new office buildings. There is a lot of retail and restaurants in the Rookwood shopping area, with the jobs that go along with those industries. I'm not sure that IT jobs are abundant.

But the thing about Norwood is that it is so centrally located that you can get just about anywhere in the city in 15 minutes or less. Its a great place to commute from with easy access to both I-71 and I-75. So even if you find a job downtown Cincinnati or north in Blue Ash, it wont take you very long to get there if you live in Norwood.

As far as TV, Time Warner is the big option. Their digital cable packages are nice, and the internet is realiable and fast for the most part. Your other option is Cincinnati Bell, who offers DSL for internet and partners with Dish Network for TV to offer package deals. Comcast does not service the area.

Cincinnati Bell also has a new pilot program for FiOptics, which is like Verizon's and AT&T's FiOS. It is only available in select areas (my friend lives in a larger apartment building in Hyde Park and has it, and loves it). To my knowledge it is not available in Norwood.
