Just curious, what city if included in a city versus city thread has the highest staying power. From my observation these would be the top 4.

Let me know your thoughts and any rationale on why you think that is.

I don't even know what "staying power" means.

meaning the thread has a higher potential to stay active. So a thread with city "x" is more likely to stay active than city "y"

In that case I'll go with New York.

It just depends on how many people from that city are on CD at the time the thread is popular

Yea it's hard to choose against our largest, most interesting city in terms of staying power. There's always going to be forumers who want to talk about about the Big Apple.

I'd say the top ones are in no particular order:

Atlanta
Orlando / Miami (I group these together because a lot of the members for one also talk for the other)
New York
Houston
San Francisco

But I think of all of them Atlanta is top. See the Fashion thread or Architecture threads. Despite Atlanta not being known for either one of those things their members will argue it ad nausea as if it is.

It all depends on the person who's posting!

It depends on the basher vs homer ratio in said thread since unbiased comments really don't mater here.
