I've seen many threads especially lately about particular cities in the South. Especially Florida cities or metros vs Texas cities or metros.
But let's knock the scale back a bit and look at the entire states. We're looking at Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana

you didn't really rank them at all just stated the number 1 pick. Far less interesting than if you had ranked them in each category. Not to mention you named Texas as the city you want to live in. Good job reading though.

(Texas by my ranking beat Louisiana but I think Louisiana would still be ahead overall because I think I'd rather the culture, weather, and history of New Orleans and Baton Rouge over Houston which is the only city I would consider living in Texas)
Just curious how these jumps were made in Weather?
Texas - Offers the driest weather
Florida - You actually get a pretty decent breeze throughout the area. Also, the majority of the cities are located near beaches or the coast.
North Carolina - More northern location gives it a milder climate during the summer.
Georgia - Never been there; just assumed it might be like NC except not as cooler in the summer and winter.
Louisiana - self explanatory.
