It may be the Boston area, not sure though! Denver has a pretty good area, The Denver Tech Center. Like 25 million square feet on the south side of town.

Good link

I think it is also interesting to note in the 90 miles between NYC and Philadelphia, 4 areas were considered among the top 30 and 3 among the top 15 (NYC 9, Philly 11, Edison NJ 13, Newark 29) combined in very small area pack a pretty strong punch, even though other industries seem to overshawdow them even within the region. May show just how diverse the economy is in the most populated area of the country.

Also with DC to the South at 4 (Bethesda MD 25 and Baltimore32) and Boston #2 to the north (with Nassau, Bridgeport, and Hartfort all in the top 50) you could argue the NE has the most cohesive concentration of tech in the country, probably not what most would think.

The NE and CA to me based on this data would be the two large centers for Tech.

Also there are more Jobs in the NYC/NJ/Philly corrider than in the Bay area based on this link

Also DC is very impressive in rank employees and wages based on the link
