Not really. I wouldn't say Fort Worth is really that much more urban than OKC, especially with the projects in OKC's core like Bricktown. And busier? Not really agree with that either. Maybe if you substitute Dallas instead of Fort Worth, though.
Basically you just insulted the third largest economy in the state of Texas and 17th largest city in the U.S.
Bricktown doesn't even compare to Fort Worth Trinity River Project.

OKC looks the same. The posted picture on this page of OKC's downtown was not from a good angle. And it didn't show bricktown. I235 on the west side of the road is loaded with brownstones and lofts. Ft Worth is probably a step ahead of OKC because it can feed of Dallas. But it's comparable to OKC. It's not an insult. OKC is not a bad city.
Oh I read through the thread, and I'm flat out calling you a liar, Fella.
Well, you would be wrong to do so.
Having lived in OK/TX, the Southeast (Central Florida), New England (Boston), and the West Coast, New England was by far the most racist area I have lived. I heard the "N" word more in Beantown than anywhere else. Just my experience. Take it or leave, Cliffster.

Good call, Knrstz.
OKC and Fort Worth feel very similar. This may be primarily due to cultural and regional commonality more than anything else. Other cities similar to OKC are Tulsa, Amarillo, Little Rock, and Nashville.

Well I'm not on this thread trying to say OKC is as good as or better than anywhere in the DFW area. But I do think people should have a clear understanding about what's going on in the city. There are much larger cities the Thunder could have went to, but this area of the country has a lot going on right now. It's not for everyone to live in OKC but for some people, living in an up and coming city, good economy, mild traffic and cheap cost of living is about as good as it gets for them.

blend Amarillo and OKC and you got Dallas, pretty much.
