Dallas and Atlanta good hockey cities? No way...my daughter grew up playing ice hockey and was on some of the best ice hockey teams in the northeast, and her college team was ranked 3rd in the country. The biggest tournaments were always either in the Boston area, Chicago area, or Minneapolis. And in these tournaments, the only team from the south was from Florida in all these tournaments. For goodness sakes, most colleges down south don't even offer NCAA women's college ice hockey.

Minneapolis/St Paul is by far the biggest hockey city in the US but I don't know diddly squat about hip-hop. Isn't Atmosphere supposedly a big rapper?

BTW; I like the fact that hockey appears to be popular here on C-D. The best sport in my opinion

In fact Alabam-Huntsville is the only southern school to offer men's college hockey. Largely because of the large number of aerospace engineers relocated there from the north.

Yeah, by mostly geographically northern located C-D, so in general, I wouldn't say its a popular topic, but I guess it is in the OP's mind.

Atmosphere is a group, not a rapper. Slug is the rapper in Atmosphere.

Minneapolis has probably the most underrated hip hop scene in the country.
