Which of the most dangerous cities in the US do u like the most? Which one would you be fine living in if you had to? Based on nightlife, politics and people of the city, culture, things to do, and economic future.

Philly has a pretty high crime rate for a large city though most is in pockets that you never have to really venture into. Most of the nightlife and attractions are in areas well traveled all hours of the day and night and very low crime. I feel just as safe in Philly's core as any major city in America

give me a break with these "dangerous city" threads. cities in the united states aren't dangerous unless you're a gangbanger, drug dealer or looking for trouble. random crime is extremely rare. every city has bad neighborhoods that you'd want to avoid, but no city is "more dangerous" than any other. these threads make it sound like certain places are like kabul or something.

You couldn't have said it any better, my friend! Crime is everywhere in this country, and sometimes, you don't have to go to the big cities to find crime! Now and days, crime is popping up in the smaller towns, b/c a lot of gang members and drug dealers find it easier to set up shop in those small towns b/c the police in smaller towns aren't as equipped to handle gang activity and drug trafficking like the bigger cities are! Like you said, unless you are one of those people who go out looking for trouble, you shouldn't be affected by crime!
