No I thought this was just for all College Towns in general. I am not at all familiar with any of these besides College Station.
Wait...you're not familar with any of them besides College Station??? There are several listed that are actually the quentessential college town, but there are also several listed that aren't college towns at all. For example: Wake Forest NC only has a Theological Seminary...Wake Forest University is located in Winston-Salem NC.
Wake Forest, Chapel Hill and Durham are all part of the Research Triangle CSA. Wake Forest is no longer the home of Wake Forest University. It was moved to Winston-Salem decades ago. The former campus is now used as a seminary......Wake Forest can hardly be considered a college town anymore.
I went with other. Gainesville with the University of FL. Great medical college, great weather, etc. Oh and there is the place they call the Swamp there for the Gators.
