Not a fair fight at all. While Atlanta can more than hold its own, LA trumps it in just about every category here. Los Angeles has an extremely dynamic and multinodal metro area.

Where would you rather live and why? Illegals, smog, pollution, gangs, drug abuse, stupidity from Hollywood, sprawl, traffic, low education, impoverished looking in many parts

The same could be said about Atlanta, minus the Hollywood.

Criteria:
Weather-atlanta. i need a change in seasons
Education-for me, atlanta
Better Future urban planning-no idea
Diversity-los angeles is more diverse, but i much prefer the demographics of atlanta
Food-atlanta, hands down
Dining-i'm assuming this refers to fine dining, so probably los angeles
Downtown's-eh, neither are that great but DT is nice
Lively-LA is probably more lively all around, but atlanta is my type of environment

I'd rather live in Atlanta but only by a slight margin. Wouldnt mind liviing in L.A. any day
