Where would you rather live and why? Feel free to add on anything to the criteria!
Weather: Los Angeles
Better Future urban planning: Atlanta
Diversity: Atlanta
Food: Los Angeles
Dining: Los Angeles
Downtown's: Los Angeles
Lively: Los Angeles
Natural Scenery: Atlanta

IMO, Los Angeles is surrounded by better regional parks (US National Forests), although Atlanta has some to the North as well. But I am wondering what people think about the LOCAL city parks INSIDE the two cities?

Um not even worthy of competition

Where would you rather live and why? Illegals, smog, pollution, gangs, drug abuse, stupidity from Hollywood, sprawl, traffic, low education, impoverished looking in many parts
This is as bias as it can get! Diversity Atlanta ( check that).

Food- LA has a better variety!

Downtown = No comment b/c at the same time LA has a crappy one for a city it's size!

Weather= No brainer.

Dining- LA

Lively- LA( Just a better place to live if you got the $$$)

How many more LA vs ___ threads? Why not LA vs Rhode Island, LA vs the Gulf Coast, hell even LA vs Hong Kong Ghost?

You want me to be honest why I hate LA? Ok but you asked for it.

I am a business man, economics is very important factor for me. In my field LA is the butt of every corporate joke, never understood why before going. Always thought Americas 2nd largest city would be impressive and live up to the hype. So I went to LA for a business trip 2 months ago and stayed for an entire month. First of all that P.O.S you call a transportation system sucks, had to pay $53 [each day] for a cab the first weekend just to get around, then rented my own car. Open the window when driving and it feels like Somalia with the polluted smoke coming in. For a city famed for its nightlife it sucks and its spread throughout city. Majority of the city looks poor and like one big barrio in Mexico. Personally I am fan of Mexico but LA looks like Tijuana, ugly, brown, and boring. Evidently going around city it feels like there are more illegals than legal residents at least compared to NY. Doing work in this city is a joke, one big corporate joke. No one takes business seriously even the business people have that pothead "its totally rad doode" attitude. Your beaches there suck, overcrowded and polluted looking, your mountains are the only redeeming quality of your entire city go figure. For an entire month it was misery after misery. And want to know the one thing that gets me most of LA? Its how people think its "NY and LA". NO its not, its just NY, no pathetic failure of an excuse city deserves to be mentioned in same breathe as NY. Chicago, DC, SF all trump LA in terms of city. I rather live in Jacksonville, Florida than in LA. Do you even understand why your city has one of the worst economics in America? Out of the top 20 largest metros only Detroit has worse economy then LA
Ive been to ATL and its not a city that I would personally live in but its a far more organized city than LA. Enjoy living in that failure you call a city, now I know why rest of the world laughs at that pathetic excuse for a civilization, thats another thing the entire city feels uneducated trash.

removed by moderator - pushes the bickering envelope. Stop. Don't insult an entire city of people.

You couldn't handle LA for one month, I guess you weren't cut out to live in LA. Besides we don't need you, we have 17 million others that live here so don't come back

More illegals then there are legals, well do explain why you say that

So you don't LA, that's great, no problem, but when you put LA down in a Category in which it shouldn't be makes you bias and makes someone feel that you have never been to LA for example:

Diversity- Atlanta

^^^ Its utter crap like that makes me think you never been there. Who the heck actually thinks ATL is more diverse than LA.

Education- Atlanta

^^^ LA Better Universities

Weather- ATL

^^^
I bet over half the people would prefer LA's weather!

Urban Planning: Can't say much about it I know nothing about ATL's Future planning

Lively: Depends you want cheaper go to ATL. You want to spend more cash for a better place to live to with LA!

Funny Gangs, as if everyone you saw you thought he was in a gang? Polluted yes indeed, but now someone has a taste for air? I'm from Seattle and I Visit LA often, The air doesn't affect me.

Big lol at the Not even worthy for Competition! (So you've been to LA?)

I prefer Los Angeles, but I would guess that most African Americans would choose Atlanta since it is a mostly African American city.

You ought to hear some of the flame throwing remarks I hear from Orange County residents. Many of them would be more than happy if LA was completely demolished..I lived in LA proper(Hollywoood) in the late 80's..it was a great time to be there. Though I would pick living there over Atlanta..LA lately seems like it's in serious decline.Give me a pad in Malibu sure!! but eventually the city is going under without a serious overhaul..LA is anything but business friendly at the moment, and yes it does have a horrific gang problem.
