What are the largest Metros that aren't on or along a large body of water/river. (America, Atlanta)

I thought it would be Dallas or Houston but I checked and rivers run through the heart of those cities.
I'm guessing Phoenix is number 1, and I know Orlando is up there but not sure if it's number 2. anyone know?
yeah people are always saying that these cities will stop growing because they are going to run out of water soon, but we have water we don't know what to do with at times.
There are two sizeable lakes to the north of the city where most of the city's water comes from. They are not anywhere as large as the great lakes, but which other lakes are?
anyway, I don't know how many people would call the bodies of water running through Houston rivers.

I don't think Phoenix is #1 in this category. I believe this "honor" goes to Indianapolis.
While Indy does have a "river" going through it, it is, from what I understand, the longest NON-NAVIGABLE river in America. That is, putting two inflatable rafts next to each other in the river is going to be a tight fit.

Dallas's River is really more of a dried riverbed with a small stream winding through the middle of it for most of the year. You're not exactly going to see much shipping or recreational traffic heading up and down it.
the manzaneres flowing through madrid isn't too much of a river, probably smaller in size/flow than the chattahoochee. (which might not flow through downtown atlanta but does form the border of its city limits on the northwest)
bologna and milan, italy. ankara, turkey. (capital) bangalore, india. bandung, indonesia.
