At some point, Im sure the Native Americans your ancestors displaced felt the same way you do.

my ancestors didn't displace them. my ancestors bought their land and fought for unowned land. there's also controversy as to who really set foot on north america first. europeans may be the true native americans.

and that's no disrespect to native americans. 400 years my ancestors have been here, odds are out of the thousands of great grandparents i have at least one of them is native american. that goes for everyone of british descent in the u.s.

WTF Newark is #23? It wasn't even mentioned in the top 25 last year.

2009 was an amazing year for the city, but this year it seemed to slip up a bit. Eeh, it's still a lot better than it was in 1996.

What's even worse is that you appear to be totally serious in this assertion.

i already said it included fighting, but also purchasing. that's what happens in war dude. last i checked people get killed in war. war can be for land. the indians lost the land they came to via asia fair and square, "their" land was unowned land.

i also don't understand what you're so surprised about. i provided you with scientific evidence to my claim that europeans were in america before american indians and you refute it based on no link at all. i have evidence that euro explorers were in north america before american indians, show me evidence that refutes that those skeletal remains were non european.

Dude, do you realize how immature you are sounding right now? "Last I checked people get killed in war" So if I just go over to over house and shoot you I get to claim your house? In your reasoning, then the Hispanics are doing you a favor by not killing you while "taking your job" huh? You just seem to have a free for all approach in life...

that's completely different. my house is legally owned by my parents. american indians legally owned no land. if they legally owned the land we "stole" then we would've legally had to immigrate to their land and america as we know it would not exist today.

you're not too familiar with owned vs vacant land are you? i can't just go claim a vacant lot as mine, i have to legally own it. that's how the world works.

they don't want to take care of the poor, they want the rich to do that. they're a bunch of robin hoods. they think it's their business to say how much money you can make and tax the hell outta you when they think you have enough. if i had $200 million in the bank, i'd donate about $75 mil to charity. but after they tax that down to $120 mil i'd donate maybe $10 mil. or maybe if they saved me that $80 mil in taxes that $80 mil could've gone towards starting new business branches or 1,600 more employees at $50,000 a year which would help lower the unemployment rate.
