I think most people are to the right of you guys. That doesn't make me a nutjob and I never said anything political on this topic.
And nobody claimed that you did, yet another straw man.

So why did you start sneering about I have a Right Wing Agenda. I'm not anti-Asheville.

I've seen people routinely post on here Asheville is different from the rest of the state. Why are you and your fellow travelers hysterical about this comment.

Why not post your opinions about black sheep cities without getting melodramatic about mine.

You seem really hung up on my opinions.

How interesting that you assumed that was about you. Asheville is a little too 'hip' for Right Winger types, if you are owning that description so be it.

I know the yahoo rural Republican Legislators in NC hate the place, that is what I was thinking of. And you accuse me of being a mind reader? And the only one acting hysterical here is you.

Asheville is unique for NC but not a black sheep; there's a difference. It's pretty much embraced and has a good reputation in (and outside of) NC for the most part.

The only reason you were talking about Asheville is because I posted about it and you said something how people who think Asheville is a black sheep in the state have a Right Wing Agenda.

It seems like a logical assumption to think you were including me in that given that is my opinion. It seems like you are trying to walk it back now.

As I've pointed out, Asheville's official or unofficial slogan is Keep Asheville Weird. I think weird would be associated with an outcast.

Anyway, this isn't worth weirdly contentious drama. good night

Idk if I agree with Birmingham...it has really rough areas but is also head of the largest metro in Alabama with a strong economy. I would nominate Montgomery.
