Dallasites pride themselves on fashion in Texas & think they can play with the big boys of NYC, LA, Milan, London, Paris, & Tokyo when it comes to fashion.
PS
This is not a thread about who has the most strip malls per capita.
This is just another example of baiting from Dallas detractors. We true Dallasites know our place and hope to create the best possible city we can. Dallas is the largest city in the largest metro area in the 2nd largest state in the USA. that's it!!!
uhh regional, but theres certainly nothing wrong with that. Chicago is a regional center too for instance...The only national places in the u.s. are nyc/la/miami (but heavily swimsuit/summer oriented)
What a troll. Metro Matt has a huge problem with obsessing over Dallas. Nobody said that Dallas was on the level of NY, LA, or Paris. Please feel free to read the thread. The claim was that Dallas was a player in the fashion industry. A poll from a noted fashion magazine was referenced that we were the 5th most important fashion center in the United States. Like clockwork, Metro Matt came running into the thread crying about Houston.
Is it really Dallas's ego that has a problem? Or is it the constant influx of worthless trolls like Metro Matt that take every opportunity to try and tell us how worthless we are compared to Houston or Fort Worth or, get read for this....Tyler of all places.
I'd say Dallas is a regional center of fashion which is a pretty big deal considering how many cities are within that region. I know there are plenty of people here in Houston that flock to Dallas to shop.

I've been on these boards a hell of a lot longer than you buddy.
Welcome to C-D newb.
BTW we were comparing & contrasting Tyler to Plano, not Tyler to Dallas...big difference.
