In the city I live in people think Italians are the best thing since sliced bread. Tell a girl you are Italian, she will take instant interest in you. Of course as a result of all that, it is pretty common for Italians to put people down and call others ugly and undesirable, have done it a lot to my people (India guys).
So in what US cities will people as a majority, not label Italians as being more attractive than everyone else?

Haha, interesting post. I'm Italian and although I agree that women like Italians, I don't know that I (or any others I know) call other guys ugly. You'd have to be a pretty ugly guy to get an opinion out of me (like that scarecrow that is the lead singer of Rush).
That being said, I believe that Southern women LOVE Italian guys because they're more uncommon (at least in Richmond, VA). Up north, there are so many Italians, I don't find that women are as swept away. Of course, this is all from my limited experience

Indians are uncommon too, but then again the Indian dudes who have it rough with the ladies here are the dark skin Indian guys (majority), the light skin ones who have that golden skin tone don't have it tough with the ladies at all. I am the latter but it hurts for me to see a fellow Indian get called such names.
I mean it is odd, Black men here who are dark do excellent with the ladies but dark Indian men don't.
Well you see it is odd, when women are attracted to Italian men here they aren't attracted to guidos or Italian Americans, they are attracted to Italy Italians.

I can see what you're saying. I think that the timeframe in migration to the US may have something to do with it. Ethnicity groups that have been here longer may be more accepted (even by the ladies).

Meh, well the thing is the ladies who are attracted more to Italian men in my area tend to be White women, unfortunately the area I live in is like 85 percent White. Most Latinas and Black women don't really care for them as much but then again, unfortunately there aren't many Latinas or Black women in my area (cries).
Where I am in Rochester NY Italians are so common that nobody really thinks much about it. I've traveled to the midwest and south for work and if it comes up that I am Italian, girls do take more of an interest.... It's weird.
