I find the great lakes cities to be dynamic, interesting places that are laid back and not insular. Many have a great deal of history, and old money, and all are connected by meaningful ties. I love the great lakes cities, but if you had to rank them, how would you do it?

Weather? Do any of them have significantly better weather than the next?
Well there is considerable variation. Duluth is the coldest, staying cool even in the summer, Buffalo is probably the snowiest, and there is a gradient in between.
Bleh, to someone from Florida they are all snowy and cold. When it's around 5-20 degrees and blowing snow, you're already dressed down as much as possible, there's really little difference. Of those cities I have only been to Chicago (where my mom is from...first white Christmas there), and Buffalo. I voted for Chicago, Cleveland, and Milwaukee since you gave us three choices, but really to make it fair, you probably should have had a more difficult list to choose from (like leave Chicago off, LoL). Duluth, Racine, Green Bay, Muskegon, South Bend, and Erie would have been a closer match. Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Toledo would have been closer. Milwaukee and Cleveland would have been yet another difficult choice.
Missing one gem right across the border. Toronto. Vancouver ALWAYS gets lopped in with the whole pac nw area... but Toronto not so much with the great lakes, Hrrm...Toronto can make a run for the nicest, safest and most diverse international city in North America. And it's really not a bad drive at all, I'm planning on going to the International Film Festival there this year.

I purposely limited it to US cities. I figured that Toronto would compete unfairly with the other cities on this list because it's basically the NYC of Canada.
Chicago shouldn't even be on this list. Revise the poll to omit Chicago and you'd get a better read on peoples opinions.
