HA, wait until the cockroaches teach the amoebas to fly! Not surprised you hadn't heard about these it's not like the Chamber of Commerce plasters these (kinda look like little Pac Men don't they) billboards in the airport next to Mickey and Minnie...

Minneapolis/St. Paul-Interesting vibrant city, good economy
Cleveland-My home town, lots of great dining and amenities, cheap housing, nice people
Savannah-The only city in the south that I would live in. Great architecture/history, friendly people, nice weather in the fall through spring
New York City-The city is alive 24/7, and it has everything you could possibly need.
Anchorage-Natural beauty plus city amenities

Bottom 5:
Cincinnati-Too conservative/racist/bible belt for me
Chicago-Tries to be New York but fails, also its highly corrupt history is a turn off
Los Angeles-Too dangerous, both in terms of crime and natural disasters.
San Diego-Too clothing-oriented/superficial
Florida-see San Diego
you do realize half of your top 5 cities to live in are a lot more dangerous than los angeles don't you? most of the big cities in this country are actually some of the safest cities in this country.

top 5 i'd live in that i've been to;
1) dc - hometown
2) ny - pizza, hot dogs & sports
3) philly - cheesesteaks, pretzels & sports
4) chicago - pizza, hot dogs & sports
5) pittsburgh - sports

top 5 i would not live in;
1) san francisco - too weird
2) boston - too much college & hate pats, sox, bruins, and celtics
haven't been to but would probably not live in;
3) portland or - hear peope there are weird
4) seattle - just seems like people from there are too boring
5) honolulu - nasty food

Never say never, but...

1. I would say New York City even though it's scale makes it number one and it has it all. It seems too expensive and far too rushed for me.

2. San Francisco because of the fault line right through the area. We have better protections than Haiti, but it's still a risk I'd avoid as much as I love the city.

3. Las Vegas because I don't gamble much at all. I know it's more than gambling, but it's been so hyped that I don't feel much intrigue or interest in it.

4. Phoenix because it looks weak in the case of rising energy costs, especially considering its scale. They have to use a lot of energy to bring food in and lack water more than probably anywhere, putting it at a disadvantage economically.

5. Lastly, Dallas because of it's double threat of heat mixed with humidity that makes it hard to get out and enjoy the outdoors for much of the year.

This is too funny. This is the exact list of the cities I would live in and in correct order. I lived in Portland before I moved to SF.

4. Berekley = I'm Pro-America. enough said.
5. Oakland = See Detroit.

4/5 are in California :O
Hollywood is just a small portion of Los Angeles. I haven't been in Hollywood for quite a few years, about 8 or so.

There are quite a few Republican areas in the Los Angeles city limits... Woodland Hills, Calabasas, LaCanada, LaCrescenta, Porter Ranch, etc.
