Ok I'm trying to decide where to move. I currently live in Minnesota and want somewhere warmer and where their is work in my industry which is video game programming. I'm currently torn between California and Florida I'm not really set on any specific city in either state but what I guess I'm looking for is out of the 2 states which one am I less likely to run into lots of pests? Now when I say pests I'm not talking about mosquitoes and fly's, what I'm talking about is snakes, lizards, giant spiders(don't mind the small ones) and such and more importantly near my home, I don't have a problem with them existing and don't have a problem seeing them from time to time what I'm concerned with is I don't want them in my home and I don't want to have to be on alert for them 100% of the time. So I guess I'm asking is does this "fantasy" world of mine exist? Is there an area in either California or Florida that I could live and not have to worry about those creatures all the time?

Maybe you should apply to EA Games and Blizzard if thats what you want to do and then go to the one that hires you..

Ok I should probably add this piece of information to my post. When I move out to one of these states I will be moving my mom out their as well as she is looking for a change in scenery and we both cant stand the cold. The thing is that I'm not bothered by bugs and such to much but she is. I don't care where I go as I know I can find work no matter where I go but I am trying to consider her in this as well.
