What are the STATES as a whole that you know the least about. Not just where have you not been but what state do you just not really identify with, don't know much about its economy or culture, haven't met many people from there, everything.

My bottom 5 from know the most to least of my bottoms:
1. Arkansas - Forestry is big and there was that commercial of a guy running for a position in the department of agriculture with the horse and gun in the commercial.
2. Montana - Some girl I worked with's dad is the President of Western Montana University so I glanced at the school's website once..
3. North Dakota - I once saw a picture book on North Dakota, I just remember clogs and windmills.
4. Idaho
5. South Dakota

(forgot Idaho in the poll, if a mod could add it that would be super)

Probably North Dakota or the Dakotas in general. I've driven thru the Badlands. I know about the motorcycle rally and Mt Rushmore in S. Dakota. And that's about it.

Why is Georgia on this list? It's the 9th largest state, played a pivotal role in US history, is in the news all the time.

Um, why are only 21 choices given? what if the states I know the least about aren't among those listed? the poll is unfair from the get-go; it forces us to give inaccurate answers to the question.

For 99% of the people on here its pretty safe to say the states people know the least about are on the list with the exception of Idaho which I noted leaving out on accident.

What may I ask state do you know the least about that isn't on there?
