Not which city has the best suburbs, but rather which city has neighborhoods that truly feel like they could be in the suburbs. These are a couple that come to mind:

16th Street Heights (DC)



Chestnut Hill (Philly)

Riverdale in The Bronx is beautiful as well. Huge stately homes and trees everywhere.

The far NW side of Chicago is very suburban. Edison Park, Norwood Park, Jefferson Park. All the homes are single family and have lawns and back alley garages. There are lots of shopping centers too.

Brentwood in LA is pretty suburban. Same with most of the San Fernando Valley outside the Ventura Blvd. corridor.

I have heard that a few sections of queens can be pretty suburban.

I think there are very few cities that don't have any neighborhoods that look suburban
