What are some cities that have no distinct accent? We all know of the NYC, Boston, and Philadelphia accents, but what about other cities? Do they not have distinct accents?

Any city in Colorado. Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Pueblo, etc. There's nothing distinct about the way people speak...I think sometimes people define it as "mid-American". Boring!

Omaha, Nebraska is home to many call centers because people from Omaha have a very neutral accent. To quote Stephen Colbert, when talking about Omaha; "it sounds like they are from nowhere, which is partially true."

Cities that are full of people from somewhere else IE west coast cities. The more people from different places moving in and out of your city all the time the harder it will be to develop a distinct accent.

Boy how can you not hear the accent??? It's pretty strong too. She sounds like an average black dallasite.

I hear it all the time so I'm use to it. Some blacks in Dallas sound totally different. I pronounce some of the words the way she do, but I think my accent is neutral.
