Nah Texas is already too close to Orlando. I think give the people in the middle of a country one. Maybe somewhere in Missouri. Although weather might be a consideration.

San Antonio is the popular answer, and it does seem to make the most sense, but something tells me that park would be like Texas stereotypes on speed.

I'm not to crazy about a Disney park being located in Canada for some odd reason.

I like the Metro Detroit ideas. Large metropolitan area, good boast for the economy, proximity to Canada, no other Disneyland around for hundreds if not thousands of miles. It could be placed somewhere in one of the main cities of the metro area that sort of has it's own identity already and not just some bedroom suburb. Ann Arbor - Ypsilanti, Pontiac, Flint, Dearborn, Northville, Belleville, or one of the cities off the lake that has enough room. Downriver would probably be best since it's the least populated part of the metro area. It seems Anaheim is centered around Disneyland so that will probably be the case with wherever it goes.
