I've always wnted to visit the Bay Area too. So unique, from what I've heard and watched. So, I would go for SF........just something mystical about those mountains and being surrounded by water on three sides.
Also, who can forget 'Dirty Harry'?

Easiest of any poll to answer! San Francisco, better weather, better looking women, better nightlife, better natural setting, better everything, HANDS DOWN!!!!!
your wrong in pretty much every aspect. But i would still choose san fran over san diego. San diego county is a bit too country club republican by the coast and a bit too nascar dad further inland for me.
I love both places but I will cast my vote for SF. However, I am sure family-oriented people probably prefer San Diego.
Your thoughts?
San Francisco or San Diego just cut and dry is tough to answer. Both cities have a lot to offer in their own way. But, considering that the San Andreas earthquake fault runs right through San Francisco, I'll pick San Diego as the one to call "home."
I believe part of San Diego is also in the zone of San Andreas fault too

I'd definetly have to say San Fran. Sure San Diego has the best weather and beaches but otherwise San Fran pretty much beats it in every other category. San Fran has a unique vibe that few cities in the US have and the song is true that once you visit the City by the Bay, you don't want to leave.
Yes indeed! San Fran is so beautiful & magical. There are so many things to see & do right at your fingertips. I lived there for 8 yrs & when I had to move back to the mid-west I cried for a yr! Really!!!!!! I left my heart in San Francisco!!!!! However, it's not a place for everyone! I would suggest visiting there-avoiding the tourist areas-and going into all the wonderful district shopping areas and walking around to get a feel for the city and whether or not it's a place that 'you' could call home.
Good Luck!!!!
