Me too. I always love when I catch a glimpse of it while I'm walking through Manhattan. It has something none of the others have IMO.

Chrysler is my favorite skyscraper in the world... it isn't the most imposing/powerful in my opinion, but I wouldn't try to argue against anyone who felt that way.

That is still my all time favorite building too.

It's hard to believe that people died constructing skyscrapers back then and yet they continued to build them. It was a different America.

I remember the proposed signature tower in Nashville back in 2007 and thinking "Wow! Now that is an American-looking skyscraper!" It was sad that the economic bust killed it. For some reason, it reminded me of the Chrysler Building (albeit a cheaper version of it -it was 2007 after all-). Would have been beautiful.

The problem was there was no proper consideration for the safety of the workers on the tower, as evidenced by the many photos of the construction of the ESB, Rockefeller etc.

The IBM Tower as locals still call it, in Atlanta is stunningly beautiful.

The Hancock Building, as you are driving on LSD, at night, in the winter, when the top is lit up and you see the steam rising off the top of it.

Much like this:

looks like it could take off like an Empire Spaceship

you can see it from the other streets too, unless yuou can only see it because LSD is elevated there.
