But at the same token both TX and GA lead the nation in black college graduates. Remember Texas is a big state with 5 major cities. Three of them have substantial African American populations Houston, Dallas, and Fort Worth along with East and Southeast Texas. So the notion that GA blacks are more advanced than Texas blacks is a pretty weak argument.
How is a certain city better for black people? I don't feel like it's a blessing I'm black and in Houston.
There is none really some cities like DC and Atlanta are notable cities for african americans there more popular this came with History. Blacks can live where they want there in Nebraska Seattle SF etc there all over. Its the same with your Latino population TX and Cali are popular states for them.

I get that but how is Atlanta better for blacks or Houston better for blacks? It comes down to nitpicking and homers on City-Data. It's not like I couldn't find a job in Ft. Worth or Charlotte because it's not on the Forbes or Yahoo list of top 10 cities for blacks. It's bogus. Now Little Rock versus Dallas, yea that's obvious..

Hows it better. People may see it like. Where are the BLACKS THRIVING THE MOST.
No denying that Atlanta has more educated blacks than all cities outside of DC.
I wouldnt Dare make that kinda remark saying there are more educated blacks in the state of GA than TX im pretty sure it probably would be the other way around

Doesn't make me more capable at all. I can go to Rice and do the same thing or Tulane or The U, etc. There's a high population of blacks in Atlanta, which also has good colleges, 1+1=2.

Atlanta and DC are the most notable cities today for black people. There are other cities in the past that where just as influential. Detroit, NYC (Harlem), New Orleans. I also want to make something very clear Birmingham and the state of Alabama was the epic center of the civil rights movement. "Yes" Dr. King was born and raised in ATL but most of his dirty work was done in Alabama.
