Should be a fun thread.

I mean, which city has people that have a "where the best and **** the rest" type of attitude? Which city has natives that can sense an out of towner a mile away and stare then down like a bag of meat or an museum exhibit? and finally, which city has people that will move to other places around the country and ***** and moan about how terrible it is or how different it is? Which city has the worst homers?

Just so you know, theres three cities that fits this category IMO, but one is the most obvious.

I will give my opinion but I don't want this thread to turn into a flame war, I am not bashing any city or its people in any way. All I can say is that in my experience when I went to New York City I had some encounter with a local who was arrogant in some way. She probably did that to me because she saw I was an out of towner.

NYC and LA. Phoenix residents, I've found, also hold this mentality.

New York in an arrogant way
Texas in a size queen way
DC in a codescending way
Pacific NW in a smug way
California in a delusional way

NOTE: This does not apply to ALL; just some. BTW, I'm doing states.

New Yorkers: Superiority Complex. [Half the time; I don't think they realize they are being arrogant or annoying].

Texans: Overly prideful [Really it's just the older Texans]

California: Friendly as hell. [They just suffer from talking too damn much syndrome].

DC: Delusional. Only DC people would compare their city to entire states. ["DC is waaaay better than Texas"].
