IDK, to this Texan the coasts have always been pricey but I get it. 15.00 an hour used to be a lot of money in Texas
???
I was more talking about NYC losing its edge and personality.
9/11 changed NYC, but starting 2005 it went straight downhill. I moved to the condo I bought in SoHo in 2004, shortly after that everywhere in my neighborhood became high rise tall glasses designer boutique buildings. New York magazine did a cover story in 2005 with all the celebrities and local hedge fund honchos buying my neighborhood, every building street front started to add either Bank of America or Chase Manhattan ATM booth.
We left NYC because we had a baby, we moved back to LA so baby could be close to my parents.-I was also getting very bored with NYC.-the smartest decision in my adult life.
To this former Manhattanite of 15 yrs I did find the arrogance of some current New Yorkers off-putting and insular.
Do you know how cheap the airfare to NYC now? Two things I do daily: real estate listing and airfare (both international and domestic)-I was so shocked how cheap the flights are to NYC.
Almost all former New Yorkers I know have moved away after Covid. A lot of well-off people bailed on NYC fast and permanent.
Not only does nyc attract the most beautiful women from all over, it attracts people from all over the country and the world
That’s why even though the furthest from NYC I’ve ever been was Newark and New Haven, I am more informed about the world than the average American because I get wxposed to so many cultures here daily
I don’t need to travel to know of the world because the world travels here!

I’m just going to ignore trolls.
I believe you are misconstruing my post. I have no idea why you left nyc nor was I assuming it was finance driven. I meant ad a while the coasts have always felt expensive to me

No biggies, I didn’t follow what you meant. (Hence ???)
The whole point is just to respond to some here with their provincialism that’s all. No sweat.
I hear Toronto is a good place if you're into Ukrainian women as it has a large community. The actress Katheryn Winnick comes to mind as a Canadian-born with a Ukrainian background. New York is good too numbers-wise, but Toronto has a higher percentage.
I tend to like cities somewhat near the Mexican border, but then I’m into hispanic women. Laredo and San Antonio are standouts for me.
But it really, really depends on what you like. I don’t think any one place has THE most attractive women in a way that can be agreed upon by all who are attracted to women.
