So I have narrowed my relocation cities down....

I am a sex and relationship blogger who is looking for not only a change in scenery but also looking to expand my business from blogging to matchmaking/relationship and sex coaching. I am looking for a city that has a vibrant nightlife and is somewhat open when it comes to sexuality. I have chosen these two cities because I have a small child and while NYC sounds great the cost of living plus raising a child there without a Kardashian budget is not as exciting. I am even thought about DC because it's close to some great major cities BUT cost of living is high and I HATE the cold( hence why I am hating OKC right now)I have been to Dallas and I actually liked it but I have seen the growth in Atlanta and hear it is a great place for business owners.*I also love that Houston is a big city thats diverse and affordable. I have a moderate budget starting off so cost of living is important. I also will be hosting singles events and meet ups. Commuting isn't a issue. I just want somewhere with culture, diversity, good schools for my kiddo, and good quality of living to make this business work. Any help is appreciated.

All of those cities have the potential for cold weather & winter ice storms. Houston not so much because its much further south (closer to the equater). Houston's weather mirrors New Orleans & Miami.

New Orleans, yes, but not Miami.

Dallas and Atlanta are warmer than OKC, but not sure if they'll be warm enough for the OP.

Dallas and Atlanta can have their cold, icy moments, Houston less so. But what about South Florida? It would seem to have all the qualities you're looking for -- nightlife, it's never cold, diversity, etc. Maybe Fort Lauderdale if you don't want to do Miami.

That's pretty funny. I'm working on energy projects in Saudi and would love to see what the Religious Police for Shariah Enforcement would do with a lady trying to get printed or internet blogged relationship "relationship and sex councilling" Not that those guys probably couldn't use it. I think they have to run before they can walk - such as trusting women to drive their cars before letting them suggest the sexual positions!

My home is in Houston and I suspect that it's a a bit closer to being ready for you - however some of the fundamentalist Christians and T-partiers might need a little coaxing too.
