Which city is wealthier between Beverly Hills and Newport Beach? Consider: home prices, infrastructure, amenities, incomes, etc

Beverly Hills is probably a little wealthier.

But I prefer Newport. The Corona Del Mar beachfront homes are incredible, and the best beachfront homes on the West Coast, IMO.

And CDM has a relaxed, casual vibe, not the plastic, flashy Bev Hills vibe.

Newport has 4 or more separate identities

the Peninsula and Islands (all of which have their own sub-identities) Essentially the harbor area, a mix of party houses and restaurants and bars and multimillion dollar homes
Corona Del Mar: A High End Residential and Shopping area
Newport Coast/San Joaquin Hills: Multimillion dollar homes and estates, very insular
and the Hill (for the lack of a better word) along with the islands and Peninsular is where many old newport families live.
a lot of old residential building with mid- to high end shopping

Newport is more diverse and more open than Beverly Hills
