So what sorts of temperatures create fog--seems like it can only happen when the temps are really cold. And I hate really cold temps but I love fog. So where can I get mild temps and lots of fog? Oh, and inland Los Angeles around the Northeast-west area sees fog only about once every ten years.

well actually down South it tends to get really miserably foggy around early spring time when the humidity is high and temperatures are in the 70s/low 80s

I find it very relaxing and comforting. Aside from when I have to drive through it on a highway at night and it gets so thick that I can't see past my headlights. A situation like that is fairly rare for me though, and I love coming home to thick fog.
Nothing is ever relaxing about rush-hour traffic in my eyes. That would be the fault of the traffic itself, not the fog.
