Well good luck trying to get a billion dollar arena built in a location they've been trying to develop for decades and have failed each time:

New Golden State Warriors Arena Faces Uphill Battle

Also even if the Warriors left SF still won't have more teams within it's city limits as the Niners are out after this upcoming season.

Can't wait for the A's season to begin btw. Went to 25+ games last year and had a blast at each one and never had an issue. They have the most championships of any baseball team to ever play in both the Bay Area AND Philly

Agree. Oakland simply isn't a great city for sports teams because tourist don't want to travel to Oakland. It's not seen as a safe area to travel.

Yes because tourists make up such a significant part of a team's home attendance. How dumb do you have to be to make that kind of statement?

Obligatory /Oaklandtourismfigures.

I'm a touristy type, and I will be there this summer Doc.

Hey Doc, they hired Stanley Burrell to be their spokesman.

MC Hammer is Oakland, California

Cool. Is it official the warriors are moving to SF?

So rumor is warriors are going to SF, A's going to SJ and Raiders going to LA..... All three teams are trying to leave Oakland!

Thanks for the sports news.

When the Warriors move to San Francisco that will give the city 3 major league teams which include the NBA, NFL, and MLB. Oakland would only have 2 (NFL and MLB).

IF the Warriors move to SF it will well after the Niners have LEFT. Niners will be in Santa Clara starting in the 2014 season. They've been selling season tickets to the new stadium for a while now.

It's just kind of funny how the Giants have been in the Bay Area longer than the A's and the Phillies have been around much longer than the A's were in Philly yet both teams have less championships than the Oakland A's and Philadephia A's.
