Can anyone think of a metro area that stretches an hour and half that can compete with........................

Atlantic City, The Hamptons, The Jersey Shore, New York City, and Philadelphia?

I would love to hear everyones opinions and answers

Nope, I can't really think of anything, but it does remind me that what we like to call "sprawl" (whether it be suburban or urban) is not unique to any one region in the US.

At least it's a unique sprawl that isn't known for having chain after chain store/restaurant

There's more uniqueness to the sprawl here than the new sprawl in the south.

Sorry, but the Philly, NJ and NYC metro is not sprawl

NJ is the most dense state out of all 50

Of course everyone knows that NYC and Philly are dense

Where do you see sprawl in this metro?
