When it comes to the holidays (which are fast approaching each day), which city is best, or your favorite?

It could be the colors, lights, shopping, festivals, vibe, weather, activity, etc.

I think an obvious one is NYC. Not sure how it is in other cities like Chicago or LA, etc.

Probably colder cities are best.

NYC, Chicago, Boston, Philly, Minneapolis, etc.

Seattle and Portland are mild but im sure they are gorgeous for Christmas too.

NYC and Chicago cant be beat for shopping though.

I voted other because to me Albuquerque will always have the best feel around Christmas and all the holidays from Halloween to New Year's Day.

For Christmas especially nothing quite beats eating tamales and biscochitos while enjoying the luminarias that are lit on Christmas Eve around town:

It doesn't always snow for Christmas in Albuquerque but when it does it is beyond magical with all the other things going on.

Minneapolis-St Paul? Hmm. Makes sense.

All I really know for Christmas is NYC though.

I would imagine the Mag Mile and Chicago would be the same.

I personally love our holiday traditions in Cincinnati...stuff like Santa Clause repelling off a skyscraper and setting off a fireworks show every Saturday in December, but I HAVE to vote for Minneapolis St Paul on this one. The castle made of ice. The Holidazzle light show. Plus, it's the closest city on the list to New Ulm, the absolute epicenter of German American Christmas tradition in the US.
