I chose Washington but I really mean the DC suburbs (on the Maryland side)

Philadelphia, under that condition that I could have a townhouse on Society Hill.

Aside from DC (Live here in the MD 'burbs), I would love to live in Philly. I could definitely settle in Washington Square-West, Society Hill, Rittenhouse Square, Fishtown, Fairmount/Art Museum, Center City, Old City or Filter Square.

Why did you exclude Baltimore?

Boston

with NYC as #2 and Philly as my #3 (maybe tied with DC, maybe not. I can't really decide...)

It would be interesting if cities like Providence, Baltimore, Portland, Hartford, and Buffalo were in this poll too....maybe even with some cities like Newport, Portsmouth, Burlington, Annapolis, etc.

Boston would be my choice.
I love Boston in the Spring time, and it is a great port to sail out of.
