Which is your favorite Deep South capital based on quality of life and attractiveness. Once again I am leaving out ATL since it would probably be a runaway.

Idk much about the others, but I know Tallahassee is a bubble of blue surrounded by red, it's close to beaches, and a university vibe never hurts. And Florida is more blue than those other states.

Probably Columbia, then Little Rock and Baton Rouge, then Tallahassee for me.

I'm surprised there's only one vote for Baton Rouge. While size isn't everything, it has the largest population and economy of all of the listed cities (although not by a whole lot compared to Columbia and Little Rock).

Baton Rouge has the hippest college scene (bars, etc).....Little Rock has the best natural beauty and biggest city vibe. Both Baton Rouge and Little Rock have the best shopping and highest quality of life. The other four are sort of non-starters IMO.

Tallahassee first, Columbia next.

After that, they can all battle by themselves.

Baton Rouge is also the most ghetto.

Yeah, I said it.

Agreed. Although Jackson gives BR a serious run for its money in that category for sure. It's by no means a runaway in either direction.

This is sort of a pick your poison scenario to me, but I'd go with Baton Rouge. It's the largest with the closest proximity to someplace better. I also lived there for a time, so there would be little to no adjustment necessary.
