Here's some stuff to compare them on: shopping, nightlife, outdoor activities, interesting neighborhoods, public transportation, roads and other infrastructure, professional sports, growth prospects, most reliable economy, foods, ethnic composition, airports and travel destinations, musical acts, downtown activities, cultural institutions (museums, theaters, symphonies, operas, art galleries), wildlife (zoo's or natural wildlife specific to the area), stellar suburbs, public schools, higher education facilities (colleges, universities, so on), public squares/parks/green space, cost of living, location and proximity to interesting areas, extra entertanment option (concerts, raves, scheduled events), climate, so on (whatever else you want to add).
Where would you rather live (long term)?

Shopping - Seattle for urban shopping, Atlanta for indoor malls to get out of the pollen filled air! Lenox is a nice mall.
Nightlife - The Atlanta nightlife is geared towards African Americans with that southern crunk/rap hooligan junk blasting and the Seattle girls are ugly with a capital U. I will go with Denver
Outdoor Activites - Denver or Seattle, I would pass out in the Georgia heat. I'm not into outdoor stuff though unless its cold.
Interesting neighborhoods - Seattle has the best neighborhoods
Public Transit - Seattle or Atlanta
Pro Sports - Well I'm a Mets fan so the braves annoy me. Seattle doesn't have an NBA team so I will go with Denver.
Growth Prospects - Denver with the best economy
Foods - I do not like southern food so Atlanta is the worst of the three IMO. Seattle > Denver in food IMO
Travel destinations - Atlanta doesn't have anything nearby I'm interested in. Charlotte, Savannah, Greenville, Birmingham are not for me. I will go with Seattle because its close to Portland and Vancouver.
Crime - Atlanta has the worst crime of the three. I'm not being offensive but statistics show the city with the highest African Americans tend to have the highest crime rates and its true in this situation.
Alright this is too many comparisons and sick of typing the rest, I would pick Denver to live

This isn't fair! Denver loses pretty much everything :/
If it means anything, Denver happens to be my favorite of the three. Not everything is about size but rather the qualities a city actually has and how well you can fit in and make it work there. I feel at home in Denver, comfortably.

Now, Now Mezter, calm down because you are underestimating your own town. I believe Denver wins many categories and I voted for them overall. The Denver CSA feels larger than what it is. I have seen some call it a cow town on this forum, do not let them get away with it.

There's tons of nightlife options that aren't geared towards African Americans. I think because Atlanta has a higher proportion of African Americans, people tend to think that's all it offers in terms of nightlife. Sure it will be more than what many other cities offer, but it's very inaccurate to imply that it's only or mostly what it offers. As someone said in another thread, there are over 4 million non-Blacks in the metro--which is itself larger than Denver's and Seattle's MSAs--and they have plenty of options.

I am Irish/English and love hip hop clubs and have many African American friends. However, there is a difference between southern and northern African American culture. I can't deal with that lil Jon and t pain southern rap with the voicebox. In the NY clubs they don't play southern rap and hot 97 doesn't give them much airplay either. I can't take the music coming from Atlanta, hurts my ears. Anyways, I want to stay on topic. So, which do you like most Mr Mutiny?

Duly noted, although all of the Black clubs don't exclusively/heavily spin Southern rap--which is more mainstream/commercial than niched these days anyway.
Out of this bunch, I'm going with Atlanta. Denver would probably be second, and Seattle third.
