Camden! It's right next to Philadelphia and right near NYC! Plus I love slums for some strange reason! I strangely think there beautiful!

Camden still has some decent bones. Lots of blocks of solid working class row houses. Lots of bombed out ares too, with vacant lots and boarded up houses. But E. St. Louis just looks deserted. Hardly anything left of the town. Camden has much more to work with to make a turnaround.

Camden appears to have an impressive number of projects in the pipeline: Camden's latest comeback may not be mirage. It would be great to read about simliar proposals for East St Louis as it really needs a shot in the arm, as well. Any rays of hope?

You're going to need re-development to bleed further into the northern half of St. Louis before anything comes across the river into Illinois. So the answer to that question would be, "No."
