Which of these two cities would you prefer living in? Also, how do the different aspects of the city (night life, education, diversity, history) compare?
I agree baltimore's im a hard spot next to the Nations capital and the nations 5th largest city, while boston controls a larger region.
For sure...and it's hit some hard times. However it appears the city is undergoing a bit of a rejuvenation of sorts. It has a good unemployment rate (7.9% vs national average of 9.3%) and though its crime rate is still terrible, it's steadily improving. Hopefully the next decade is one of continuing improvement for the city.
Baltimore wins for me. Boston reminds me too much of Seattle and San Francisco. Baltimore has a tough and gritty Rocky Balboa feel to it. Baltimore just feels more different and unique which is why I prefer it. Boston is definitely more white. Of course there is no right or wrong answer to a question like Boston vs. Baltimore. It's all a matter of opinion. Most people would pick Boston but I pick Baltimore.
