Are you joking? LA isn't even the EDM capital of the US (LV takes that crown by a fairly significant margin) much less the world. Seriously, how can you make such an absurd statement? About the only thing LA has over other cities is the number of EDM music videos filmed there. That is it, though.

I've never been west of San Antonio, but I would love to visit SF. I'm a culture nut (one of the reasons I moved to NOLA) and SF has always interested me because it is quirky. LA and SD sound like boring economic based cities whose culture was watered down by a massive influx of people.

LV has the parties. Who is actually making the music and where are they from ?

LA watered down culture? I hate that people think this way about a city that influences what you watch, eat, listen, wear, do & communicate.

That's a very common complaint about SF today with the influx of techies.

Not enough to be the capital of EDM music, I'll tell you that much. Among headliners in Vegas, we're talking maybe 5%. Vast majority are from other places.

I've lived in LA and SF, and have been down to SD extensively.

If its a serious inquiry, it really depends on what you do for a living and how you are as a person. But all these polls can be answered like that

Spent a lot of time in all three citied and they each have something different to offer. My fav is SF followed by SD.

To live - San Diego
To go on a vacation - San Francisco
To visit for a weekend (concert, sports) - LA

People don't vote because of the places: they vote based off the boosters from that city.
