Interesting.

But I've casually read this place enough to know how this thread will go. 18montclair will absolutely freak at the fact that Washington has more high income households than the Bay Area and will post an obscure survey to counter this.

Not really. Some have hundreds of thousands and some have only 17k. Raw numbers are just as important.
