Which of the two metropolitan regions listed do you feel is the most fast paced, Los Angeles or Philadelphia?

I live in the Philly area, but have never been to L.A. Philly is slow compared to the NYC area.

I highly doubt Philly would be more fast paced than LA, so between those too I would say LA. New York is probably fast paced too though. I have never been there, but I would think that would also be fast paced.

Idk,LA is quite fast paced but also has really laid back areas, but overall I'd still say LA.

people look at the palm trees and urban sprawl style of development when they see pictures of L.A and associate that with being slower paced "laid back" like florida or something...but the truth is its chaotic

LA is chaotic, but there's a certain level of "laid-backness" in the area as well.

As someone from the Philly area and who has visited L.A. relatively recently, I'd say they're comparable in pace. Even though L.A. does seem to have a more "laid back" vibe about it, for some reason I couldn't characterize it as slow.

I think they have a similar pace although Los Angeles may have the edge.

LA's great climate, beaches, palm trees, mountain scenery is somewhat offset by the fact that it has 15 million people chasing the same carrot.

The Philadlephia area which is the 1/3 the size of LA has 75% of its population settled in bucolic suburbs.

In my opinion.

LA- More fast paced overall region
Philadelphia - More fast paced City
