New Orleans to live, New Orleans to visit. Denver is very nice, fun, pleasant, does just about everything right and is obviously very successful, but its a little plastic, especially compared to New Orleans, it's just not a city with much soul.

Quality of life in Denver is better than NOLA. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities in the world but to actually live there is another story.

Denver.

Richer, less crimes, no hurricanes.

New Orleans seems....
Cheaper to live
Humid as hell
Less work available however...
Less stressful
Love the "character" there

Denver seems....
extremely tight rental market and expensive
more work available
more stressful to live due to rental market
dry which I like much more than humidity
however the snow concerns me as it seems to snow a lot and I am not used to driving in it
Forget the weather...

What types of job(s) are you looking for, and what do you like to do in your free time? What qualities are you looking for in a city? Figure that out and then find a city that fits.
