What city and/or region is the most poorly laid out in terms of their road network? The areas land use or geographic natural features like mountains or rivers could exacerbate the transportation networks issues too.

To me, the Boston area is the most poorly laid out given the lack of street grids, numerous rivers and crazily designed intersections and onramps. Does anyone agree? Is there anywhere worse? Boston drivers definitely don't make it any better either. I love Boston but this is my main gripe with the area. It's subway and commuter rail system is great but I'm focused on roadways in this posting

Isn't that supposed to be charming and get you to walk a bit more? Well, that latter part would be really nice if the weather was balmier.

Orlando: Odd entrance/exit ramps for most highways, several no left turn roads, too many tolls.
Atlanta: Not so much layout, but inadequate infrastructure relative to the size of the metro.
Huntsville: One interstate, no east/west interstate access, no interstate loop.
Chattanooga: No interstate loop, inadequate infrastructure relative to the size of the metro, small roads.
Lexington: Poor interstate access, inadequate infrastructure relative to the size of the metro.
Cincinnati: Inadequate aging infrastructure, small roads.
Los Angeles: Chile...........smh
