I wonder what all those people in Washington DC are doing to earn all that cash. Them politicians must be some kind of party animals or something, to be spending like that.

NYC and SF are no surprise. Seattle and Houston so low is a surprise to me.

Minneapolis/St.Paul having a wealthier 1% than Houston is definitely a shock.

I know fellas straight out of college earning 120,000+ as programmers in Seattle. No way in hell the 1%'ers earn so low in Seattle. Boeing and Microsoft executives are earning cash hand over fist.

I wonder what those all those Wall Street buffs are doing to earn all their cash in NYC? Must be one hell of a party for real. Chill out with the generalizing.

I think most people stereotype the top 1% to be CEOs and politicians which to be fair they usually are up there but in many of these cities certain specialties of doctors and surgeons are easily up there. I know a few surgeons who make quite a bit more than 380k a year.

It makes me question how many people are in the 1% of these cities. If many doctors can reach those salary figures on top of the usual suspects (CEOs, politicians, investors, executives, etc.) then the 1% must be a larger number of people than we truly think in these cities.
