That's a hard one I thought of that yeah you can take Windsor too. Then what about DC?

The DC area has some of the most affluent places to live in the U.S. Northwest DC, for example.

I can't see how Detroit's location can beat DC's east coast location. But that's personal preference too.

Exactly.

Subconsciously your bashing them because you brought bashing up in the first place. I love both cities tbh I'm a big fan of Rust Belt cities in general, that's my preference.
You knew what you were doing, don't pretend. The whole premise of this thread is choosing which negative (best of the worst) city to live in with a lot of money. You're sitting back eating popcorn waiting to see the negative comments spew out.

I've never been to Detroit, but Baltimore is an interesting city with lovely neighborhoods and great food. 80% of my loved ones live between Boston and Richmond. To answer your question: 10 million isn't that much money, and I can imagine not being able to travel. That's half the reason to have money.

Baltimore in a heartbeat. It's not as cold, it's by other impressive cities, it's not as rundown, and it's more compact as a whole.

The premise of this thread is certainly suspect, but both cities are on a come up. However, Baltimore is my home, so by default, that's what I choose. Plenty to do in a more compact area.

Mmh, why would you never be able to leave? I'd pick Baltimore though.
