If you were gifted 10 milllion dollars but the catch is you must live in any of these cities and never leave (suburbs included). Both heavily industrial blue collar towns both suffer from urban blight. Both have large African American population. Both host beautiful suburbs. Which one would you choose and why?
I would choose Baltimore. Proximity to the harbour, great seafood. Also has a casino like Detroit (Jacks Casino used to be called the Horseshoe). Generally cool to mild winters. Beautiful suburbs and architecture. Excellent medical facilities.
It would be better to let them keep the money rather than live in a place where you could soon be dead because of so much crime.
Baltimore either way. If suburbs are included and we're looking solely at MSA, I'd move to Annapolis and spend the $10ml on a beautiful mansion near Chesapeake Bay
If it's CSA, then I'd buy a mansion near the mountains around Winchester or Front Royal, VA and call it a day.

You knew what you were doing, don't pretend. The whole premise of this thread is choosing which negative (best of the worst) city to live in with a lot of money. You're sitting back eating popcorn waiting to see the negative comments spew out.

The premise of this thread is certainly suspect, but both cities are on a come up. However, Baltimore is my home, so by default, that's what I choose. Plenty to do in a more compact area.

I'm pro Baltimore too have you not read my prior post? Gees just give me a little credit. There is always a negative person on CD who challenges someone else's original post. Relax enjoy life. Stop being so tense and overly sensitive. I just don't think like that. But Im not fond of ASSumptions I have zero tolerance for people like this and will definitely express that. Do you have any other social media accounts? I've never met a bunch of politically correct overly sensitive people than what I see here on CD.
